In this workshop you will use fabric sculpting techniques to create a stunning plaque to hang in your garden (or in your home).

Your plaque can be any shape you choose and you will then use Powertex fabric hardener, a selection of fabrics, lace and embellishments, and of course your imagination to create a plaque with lots of depth, texture and interest.

Once your plaque has been dried, it is time to bring it to life and enhance all of the textures with pigment colours applied using a dry brushing technique.

Powertex takes three weeks to fully cure, but after this your plaque will be weather resistant and can be proudly hung in your garden

Places are limited and need to be booked in advance. Please visit www.curiously-contrary.co.uk/workshop-bookings to secure your place.

This workshop is being run by Abigail Lagden, Certified Powertex Tutor and member of the 2018 Powertex Design Team.
