There’s a warm welcome waiting for you in Stanhope, here at Stanhope Tourist Information Centre we can help you make the most of your time whatever your reason for visiting. Situated within the Durham Dales Centre the Tourist Information Centre provides both visitors and locals with a host of information.

Contact us before your visit or call in for information about local accommodation, attractions, events and activities. As well as a free local bed booking and theatre booking service we also provide a national book a bed ahead and holiday information service.

On sale are ordnance survey maps, walking and cycling guides and accessories, a wide range of books covering the history and geography of the local area and a large selection of souvenirs cards and gifts.

We are open daily except Christmas and New Year.
