MG Car Club Tyne-Tees Centre is celebrating their Golden Jubilee with a special Jubilee Weekend of activities, starting with a unique “Figure of Eight” Road Run across Weardale, Teesdale and Swaledale for up to 100 MG cars on Saturday 6th August.  Two simultaneous road runs of some 55 miles each, both runs being tackled by MG cars spanning nine decades, during the day. The runs start and finish at the Redworth Hall Hotel near Shildon.

The mid-point stop on the Weardale Tour is at the Durham Dales Centre in Stanhope when cars will be expected from 11:00am onwards for MG cars on the morning run, and from 2:00pm onwards for MG cars on the afternoon run.

The MG Car Club is the original MG Club founded in 1930 and supports all MG cars from 1924 to current models. Tyne-Tees Centre covers the whole of the North East, from Berwick down to North Yorkshire and from Cumbria to the east coast. From social runs to competitive events, the MG Car Club has it all covered.
